Cookie Policy
This policy explains how Voice Alerts Inc. ("VoiceAlerts," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on voicealerts.com, what they do, and the choices you have over them.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make sites work, to remember your choices, and to provide information to the site's owners. We also use similar technologies — such as your browser's local storage — which work in much the same way. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these unless we say otherwise.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by VoiceAlerts) or "third-party" (set by another service we use, such as a font or analytics provider). They can also be "session" cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or "persistent," which remain until they expire or you remove them.
2. How we use cookies
We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. We group them into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function and to remember choices like your cookie preference. These are always active and don't require consent.
- Analytics / performance (optional). Help us understand how the site is used — which pages are visited and how visitors move through them — so we can improve it. These are only used if you accept them.
- Functional (optional). Support features such as loading our brand fonts. Where these involve a third party, we note it below.
We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell the information collected through cookies. By default, only strictly necessary storage is active until you choose to accept optional cookies.
3. Cookies & storage we use
The table below summarizes the cookies and similar storage in use on this site.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| voicealerts_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every visit. | Local storage · until you clear it | First-party |
| Analytics (optional) | Analytics / performance | Aggregate, privacy-respecting measurement of how the site is used. Set only if you accept analytics cookies. | Set on consent | First / third-party |
| Google Fonts | Functional | Loads the typefaces used across the site from Google's font service. | At request time | Third-party (Google) |
The specific analytics provider, cookie names, and retention periods are finalized as part of our launch configuration and will be listed here once enabled. If you'd like the current detail before then, contact us using the details in section 8.
4. Third-party services
Some features rely on third parties who may set their own cookies or receive limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser) when content loads:
- Google Fonts. We load our brand typefaces through Google's font service. Google may process the request to deliver the fonts. See Google's privacy practices for details.
- Analytics provider. If you accept analytics cookies, a provider helps us measure site usage in aggregate. We configure it to minimize the personal data involved.
- Form submissions. When you submit a demo or contact form, the information you enter is sent to our intake systems on the voicealerts.me domain so we can respond. This is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We don't control cookies set by third parties. You can manage them through your browser and through each provider's own controls.
5. Managing your preferences
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies. Declining keeps only strictly necessary storage active. You can revisit that choice at any time:
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies and clear local storage — usually under "Privacy" or "Security." Helpful guides are available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working as expected.
6. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) setting. Because there is no single industry standard for how sites must respond to DNT, we treat it on a best-effort basis. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as GPC as a request to disable non-essential cookies.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in legal requirements. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
